NOTE: You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine, spirits or beer. By placing your order you have represented to The Wine Thief that you are at least 21 years old. All deliveries MUST be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age with ID.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME:
All orders are processed as quickly as possible. If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be processed and shipped within 24 hours (M-F) and in many cases, the same day your order is received. If any part of your order exceeds the quantity we have in stock or contains non-stock items we will order your items from one or more of our distributors. In most cases we receive items the following business day but on occasion items may take up to 3-5 business days. Each distributor carries different products and has their own ordering and delivery policies which we have no control over. For these reasons, we DO NOT GUARANTEE delivery dates.
We offer three different shipping options:
- Ground Service – approximately 1-5 business days in transit
- 2nd Day Air – 2 business days in transit
- In store pickup if you are in the local area
All orders from thewinethief.com are shipped via FedEx.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You will receive an email to acknowledge receipt of your order. Once your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment, you will receive a second email that contains tracking information. The tracking link will be active once FedEx picks up your package.
If there are any problems or delays with your order, we will attempt to contact you as soon as we are aware of the issue by phone and/or email.
While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, The Wine Thief is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors and omissions.
Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the client to review their order before submission; The Wine Thief is not responsible for errors on behalf of the client in regards to bottle size, vintage, etc. Should the product be returned under these circumstances shipping is non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that shipping costs and delivery dates are estimated. Actual costs will be confirmed with you when your order is placed.
Retail Packaging: External retail product packaging is generally not shipped by default. This is to ensure the safety of the bottle during shipping. If we consider the item to be collectible or the packaging is commonly considered desirable, we will include it in your shipment. If you wish to receive any external product packaging, please advise us in the Special Shipping or Notes section on your order and we will do our best to include the packaging. If the external packaging does not fit along with the bottles in the regular shipping boxes we use, we will quote a price for shipping these in a separate package. Thank you for your understanding.
Where We Ship: Many states restrict the shipment of alcohol in one way or another. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area.
We DO NOT ship to the following states: Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Texas, Utah.
