Shipping Policies:

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing your order you have represented to The Wine Thief that you are at least 21. All wines delivered must be received by an adult of legal drinking age.

An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. Please be aware that someone 21 or older must be available to sign for the delivery. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left.

Under normal circumstances, most orders will be processed the next business day. We can usually ship your order within 2 to 3 days (not incuding holidays and weekends) after your order has been placed.

Carrier and Delivery Times

We use FedEx as our preferred shipping method and offer 3 shipping options:

          Ground Service: approximately 2-7 business days in transit

          2nd Day Air: 2 business days in transit

          Next Day Air: 1 business day in transit

All shipping costs are calculated depending on number of bottles, package weight and distance shipped.

Shipping Materials

All purchases are packed and shipped in a FedEx and UPS approved "Spirited Shipper" container specifically made for shipping wine. These are patented boxes and are a strong, safe way to ship wine and liquor bottles.

Restricted States

Please note that some states have laws regarding the shipment of alcohol that prohibit us from shipping to addresses in those states. We cannot ship alcoholic beverages to: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Utah.
